The Cisco AIR-AP2802I-G-K9 is part of the Cisco Aironet 2800 Series Access Points, which are designed to deliver the new 802.11ac Wave 2 standard. This access point is ideal for large enterprise organizations that rely on Wi-Fi to engage with customers. It features 4×4 MIMO with three spatial streams, maximal ratio combining (MRC), 802.11n and 802.11a/g beamforming, and 20- and 40-MHz channels. The AIR-AP2802I-G-K9 provides internal antennas and is designed for the G regulatory domain. It supports flexible radio (either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz), dedicated 5-GHz radio, and external antennas (sold separately). The access point also comes with smart antenna connectors, 2×100/1000BASE-T autosensing (RJ-45) interfaces, and various indicators. It is sealed in a Cisco original box and comes with a one-year warranty. The product is designed for controller-based deployment and supports a data link protocol of 802.11a/g/n/ac. It is a dual-band 802.11ac 4×4 MU-MIMO access point.
